The Brazilian star Issues Sincere Sorry to The Madrid Club Fans

Vinicius Jr in action

The forward has scored five goals in ten domestic competition appearances during the current campaign.

Los Merengues winger Vinicius Jr has said sorry to supporters for his response when replaced in the recent intense Clasico clash win.

He was replaced in the second half and showed his frustration by going straight off the pitch.

Vinicius eventually reappeared to the bench and, following his side's 2-1 victory, tried to confront the opposition's Lamine Yamal during contentious after the game incidents.

"This day I want to say sorry to all the supporters for my reaction when I was taken off in the Clasico," he wrote on X.

"In the same way as I have already done during the latest training, I would like to say sorry once more to my colleagues, the organization, and the president.

"Sometimes passion takes over me because I continuously aim to succeed and support my club. My winning mentality comes from the love I hold for this team and all it stands for."

He moved to the Spanish capital from his former club in 2018 for a significant fee and has notched over a century of strikes in 335 appearances.

But his prospects in the La Liga is uncertain with rumors in recent months suggesting that Los Blancos would think about letting the 25-year-old move on if they obtained a good proposal.

When the winger was replaced on that day, cameras from coverage provider Dazn picked him up saying: "It's always me! I'm departing the side! It's better if I depart, I'm moving on."

In his latest message on social media, the athlete stated: "I promise to keep battling at all times for the welfare of Los Blancos, as I have acted since the first day."
