Soccer Star Welsh Athlete Ramsey Ups Bounty for Lost Dog in Mexican Territory to $Twenty Thousand Dollars
Wales athlete Ramsey has raised the bounty for information regarding his missing pet named Halo to £15k.
Ex- Arsenal and Cardiff City player, who currently is with Pumas UNAM in Mexico City, revealed that the beagle was observed in San Miguel de Allende, located in the Guanajuato area.
Halo, who disappeared on 9 October, was wearing a GPS collar, and Ramsey published a Google maps location of the spot she vanished from.
"Any sort of news about our Halo kindly get in touch with us. Significant bounty for finding her. We are all praying she is safe and can be back with us soon," Ramsey posted on social media.
Initial Reward and Emotional Appeals
The footballer first disclosed that his dog had disappeared two weeks ago and has since uploaded several photos of the cherished pet on his social media account.
A £7.5k incentive was originally announced, but with absence of information on the dog's whereabouts after a week, the player and his family doubled the reward.
"All we desire is our pet returned," he stated in another plea on social media after the decade-old dog was lost.
A recent photograph upload is a grayscale photo of Halo napping, its head lying in the bend of the athlete's arm, with the message: "What I'd do to embrace you one last time sweet Halo."
Family's Anxieties and Background
The footballer has additionally shared a note from his spouse Colleen on social media saying they have a few "serious questions" about the event and fear the household "might not get clarity".
"We still are still searching for Halo. It is unlikely we ever will," his wife's post expressed.
